About Bourbon County

Bourbon County High School is located in Paris in Bourbon County in central Kentucky within the Bluegrass region. The school opened in 1954 following consolidation of several smaller county high schools. The Bourbon County Colonels boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents a community where agriculture and horse farms are a major part of the local economy.
