Bush High School historically served the rural Bush community in Laurel County, Kentucky. The school operated during the period when many Appalachian communities maintained their own small high schools and athletic programs. Boys basketball teams represented the Bush community in regional competition before the school eventually closed as students were consolidated into Laurel County High School and other nearby schools.
