Calvert City High School historically served the community of Calvert City in Marshall County in western Kentucky near Kentucky Lake. During the early and mid-twentieth century many small towns in the region operated their own high schools and athletic programs. Boys basketball teams from Calvert City competed against nearby community schools before Marshall County consolidated its high schools. Students from the Calvert City area now attend Marshall County High School.
