About Carlisle County

Carlisle County High School is located in Bardwell in Carlisle County in far western Kentucky near the Mississippi River. The school opened in 1955 following consolidation of smaller high schools in the county. The Carlisle County Comets boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents a rural river county where high school athletics are a central part of community life.
