Clark County High School is located in Winchester in Clark County in central Kentucky. The school opened in 1963 when Clark County consolidated several smaller community high schools into a single county high school. The Clark County Cardinals boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents a community situated along the historic corridor between Lexington and the eastern Kentucky foothills.
