About East Jessamine

East Jessamine High School is located in Nicholasville in Jessamine County in central Kentucky just south of Lexington. The school opened in 1997 as the second high school in the Jessamine County School District due to rapid population growth in the region. The East Jessamine Jaguars boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents the eastern portion of the county.
