About Evarts

Evarts High School historically served the city of Evarts in Harlan County in southeastern Kentucky. The school represented the coal mining community in athletics including boys basketball during much of the twentieth century. Evarts High School closed in 2008 when Harlan County consolidated its smaller high schools into Harlan County High School.
