Jefferson High School historically served students in Louisville in Jefferson County, Kentucky. During the early decades of Kentucky high school athletics, Louisville maintained several city high schools that fielded teams including boys basketball programs competing against other schools in the region. The Jefferson High School program eventually disappeared as Louisville's public school system reorganized and expanded its modern high schools.
