Jessamine County High School historically served Jessamine County in central Kentucky. The school opened in 1968 when the county consolidated its high schools into a single countywide institution located in Nicholasville. The Jessamine County Colts boys basketball program competed in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association until the school closed in 1997 when the district split into East Jessamine High School and West Jessamine High School.
