Lexington High School historically represented one of the early secondary schools in Lexington in Fayette County, Kentucky during the early period of organized high school athletics. The school fielded teams including boys basketball against other early Kentucky programs. Over time Lexington's educational system evolved into multiple modern high schools within the Fayette County Public Schools district.
