About Lyon County

Lyon County High School is located in Eddyville in Lyon County in western Kentucky between Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake. The school opened in 1955 following consolidation of the county's smaller high schools. The Lyon County Lions boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents the communities of this small western Kentucky county.
