About Male

Louisville Male High School is located in Louisville in Jefferson County, Kentucky. Founded in 1856 as the Male High School of Louisville, it is one of the oldest public high schools in the United States west of the Allegheny Mountains. The Male Bulldogs boys basketball program has been a longstanding participant in Kentucky high school athletics and competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association as one of Louisville's historic athletic programs.
