Nebo High School historically served the small coal mining community of Nebo in Hopkins County, Kentucky. The school operated during the early and mid-twentieth century and fielded athletic teams including boys basketball representing the rural communities of southern Hopkins County. Nebo High School later closed when Hopkins County consolidated its schools into larger county high schools including South Hopkins High School.
