About Owen County

Owen County High School is located in Owenton in Owen County, Kentucky in the northern Bluegrass region. The school opened in 1956 following consolidation of several smaller community schools in the county. The Owen County Rebels boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents communities throughout the rural county.
