Vanceburg High School historically served the city of Vanceburg in Lewis County, Kentucky along the Ohio River. The school fielded athletic teams including boys basketball during the early and mid-twentieth century before the county consolidated its schools. Students from the Vanceburg area later attended Lewis County High School following the countywide consolidation.
