Lawrence County High School is located in Louisa in Lawrence County in eastern Kentucky along the Big Sandy River. The school opened in 1970 following consolidation of smaller county high schools. The Lawrence County Bulldogs boys basketball program competes in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and represents communities throughout the county.
